We have arrived!

Our arrival at Seoul Airport.. waiting for the rest of our group to arrive on Sat.
Friday - We are here! After a long flight, we have arrived safely in Seoul. Korean Air were great. TV/movie/game screens on the back of all seats - yey! The kids entertained themselves pretty much roaming around and playing with each other. The food was quite good, and the flight was on time. We were met at the airport by Sunny (our lovely Korean tour guide) who arranged mobile phones for us to hire at airport (SK Telecom) so we can chat to each other if we need to. Interestingly, Brendan & Michael's mobile phones both worked fine (with global roaming enabled), so they didn't need to hire any.
We were duly ferried to our hotel for the next three nights in Seoul (Cassaville in Sinchon), and after unloading, we hit the streets for dinner. We found a very noisy, busy place to eat down the street and the kids watched in hungry anticipation as the waiters brought out a pile of food and cooked it all together on the bbq in our table. Chicken, vegetables, lots of chilli paste, noodles, rice cake noodles, ham and then when that was all stir fried, they covered it all in cheese, put a big lid on and let it cook!  Yum!!!  The kids hoed it down. Poor Lily(who has a lot of food allergies)  looked on with her bowl of rice and ham - but was happy watching everyone else.
The rooms at the Cassaville are good, but all the floors are heated, so they are very warm. Today we are off to Nami Island - a day trip from Seoul.
Can't wait to catch up with the other three families that are coming on Sat and Jill & Michael a bit later.
